The project "Parliamone in piazza" was born in response to the gap between the perception of the migration phenomenon and its communication, often generated by irresponsible media usage.

With the aim of establishing a face-to-face dialogue with the citizens of Veneto, the project took place in the squares of Mestre, Rovigo, Cittadella, Verona, Bassano del Grappa, Feltre and Castelfranco Veneto. In each of these locations, quantitative data regarding the local foreign population was presented, communicated each time through a different medium: photography, music, art, games, scribing and literature.

"Parliamone in piazza" is an initiative of the UNESCO Chair SSIM at IUAV University of Venice, developed in collaboration with professors Marcello Balbo, Luciano Perondi and Simona Morini.
